Choreographer and three-time Ovation Award winner, LEE MARTINO has created the Musical Staging for Falling for Eve, a new musical by 2010 Tony winner Joe DiPietro, Bret Simmons and David Howard, which begins performances at Off-Broadway’s The York Theatre Company July 6. Larry Raben directs the new musical, which officially opens July 15 and continues through Aug. 8. The cast features Jennifer Blood, Krystal Joy Brown, Nehal Joshi, Adam Kantor, Jose Llana and Sasha Sloan.
Memphis’ DiPietro authored the book to the musical with a score by Bret Simmons (music) and David Howard (lyrics).
The six-person multicultural musical is a second look at the world’s first love story. Creation is going perfectly. Eve, curious about what lies beyond the Garden of Eden, and obsessed with the notion that something is forbidden, bites the infamous apple. Then Adam doesn’t. How exactly they’ll get together to create the human race is anybody’s guess. Falling for Eve is a fresh and unconventional retelling of the most famous romance of all time, filled with unexpected twists and turns as Eve and Adam realize that “paradise” may not be a place after all!

Choreographer, TINA LANDON and her assistant, Jason Myhre, have completed U.S. Tour choreography rehearsals for RIHANNA’s “LAST GIRL ON EARTH TOUR”. Tina Landon first starting working with Rihanna three years ago when Landon choreographed her famed “Umbrella” music video.
Tina Landon has choreographed and/or directed world tours, TV specials and music videos for such recording artists as: Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, & Pussycat Dolls, just to name a few.
It’s about to be one busy summer for Rihanna. The singer has just announced that she’ll be hitting the road for her Last Girl on Earth Tour with opening acts Ke$ha and Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj, a rep for Rihanna confirmed to MTV News on Monday.
The tour will begin in Seattle on July 2 and make 25 stops, including Los Angeles on July 21 and New York’s Madison Square Garden on August 12, before concluding on August 25 in Chicago. Tickets go on sale at LiveNation.com on Friday. Additional dates will be announced.
